Dr. Stansfield’s research includes a focus on community violence, intimate partner violence, and homicide. He is currently involved in several projects related to the prediction of ongoing dangerous acts of violence between intimate partners and the relationship between firearms and intimate partner homicide. He is also currently a principal researcher for a community crime reduction program in Philadelphia, funded by the Department of Justice.
