FUNDED RESEARCH PROJECTS

Since February 2019, the GVRC has taken part in providing internal funding to faculty, doctoral students, and research staff on research related to gun violence. The internal funding program is designed to support the GVRC and it’s mission to become a center for excellence in programmatic research related to gun violence. Funds were awarded for three different categories:

  1. Scholar grants supporting completion of a manuscript for peer-reviewed journal submission
  2. Grants supporting analysis of available gun violence related data
  3. Full-scale pilot studies.
