Phillips, Julie

Julie Phillips is a social demographer with interests in different forms of lethal violence, including homicide and suicide, and how access to means including guns produces variation in rates. Her current research examines the sharp increase in suicide in the United States and how and why suicide risk varies over the life course and across birth cohorts.
